Contribución de profesores de la Escuela Superior de Ingeniería recibe el premio a la mejor contribución en formato póster en el 14th International Conference  on Web Information Systems and Technologies (WEBIST 2018).

Entre el 18 y 20 de septiembre tuvo lugar en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática de la Universidad de Sevilla, la edición número 14 del International Conference on Web Information Systems and Technologies (WEBIST 2018). El congreso WEBIST viene celebrándose desde el año 2005, y es un evento de referencia internacional que congrega investigadores del ámbito de los sistemas de información que presentan, entre otros, trabajos relacionados con tecnologías de Internet, sistemas de información móvil y NLP, sistemas de información basados en servicios, plataformas y ecosistemas, inteligencia web e interfaces web.

En esta edición, un equipo de profesores de la Escuela Superior de Ingeniería han obtenido el premio al mejor trabajo presentado al congreso en la modalidad de póster por su contribución “Assessment of Generic Skills through an Organizational Learning Process Model” [1]. Sus autores son los profesores e investigadores Antonio Balderas Alberico, Juan Manuel Dodero Beardo, Manuel Palomo Duarte e Iván Ruiz Rube, todos ellos pertenecientes al Departamento de Ingeniería Informática (grupo de investigación SPI&FM); así como el investigador Juan Antonio Caballero Hernández, del grupo de investigación EvalFor. Estos investigadores desarrollan una línea de investigación en el ámbito del aprendizaje mejorado por la tecnología, habiendo realizado numerosas contribuciones científicas en este campo.
