Outstanding Poster Award 6TH INTERNATIONAL BRAIN STIMULATION CONFERENCE

José Antonio Vílchez, Clemente Cobos y Víctor Salas reciben el Outstanding Poster Award en la 6ª Conferencia Internacional de Estimulación Cerebral en Kobe, Japón

La 6ª Conferencia Internacional de Estimulación Cerebral, celebrada en Kobe, Japón, del 23 al 26 de febrero de 2025, fue el escenario de un importante reconocimiento para la investigación española. Los profesores José Antonio Vílchez y Clemente Cobos junto con el investigador Víctor Salas, de la Escuela de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Cádiz, fue galardonado con el Outstanding Poster Award. Este prestigioso premio reconoce su destacada contribución en el campo de la estimulación magnética transcraneal, específicamente por su trabajo en “Multi-locus transcranial magnetic stimulation coils for the cerebellum”.

El trabajo de este grupo, que se centra en el desarrollo de bobinas de estimulación magnética transcraneal multi-locus para el cerebelo, representa un avance significativo en las técnicas de neuromodulación. Su investigación promete abrir nuevas vías para el tratamiento de diversas afecciones neurológicas. La comunidad científica internacional celebra este logro, que pone de manifiesto la calidad y el impacto de la investigación llevada a cabo en la Universidad de Cádiz.
